H224 control panel shows after mac login, even though “run on system startup” is unchecked.

by Sterling Audio | Feb 25, 2021

This happens due to the "reopen windows" feature when macOS and OS X shuts down. See further details at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204005.

Adjusting volume extremely quick on hardware results in slow volume adjustment

by Sterling Audio | Feb 25, 2021

This is by design, to avoid audio artifacts H224 gradually changes volume up or down regardless of how quickly volume knob is adjusted on the hardware.

When attempting to playback pre-recorded music on my computer hard drive (not via DAW software ), or stream music through apps on my computer and H224, I can only hear my music through monitor Outputs #1 & #2 and not through Outputs #1, #2, #3, #4 simultaneously.

by Sterling Audio | Feb 25, 2021

Music playback applications via computers and on-line streaming software services are designed to stream their outputs to a single stereo set of outputs (outputs #1 & #2 by default).
